The image above shows a manipulated photograph of myself, that I have edited in photo shop to achieve the style of Julian Opie, who designed Blur's greatest hits album cover.
Firstly I took an image of myself using the Photo Booth software and copied it into Photoshop. I then began to draw around my image with the 'magnetic lasso tool', once I had drawn around all of my features in the image I began to fill them in with similar colours from the original. Each of my features had a separate layer that all came together once completed.
The purpose of this task is to show how familiar I am with Photoshop as a softeware and to show my skills on which I intend to develop within the Photoshop programme over the next year.
